Q..What brands of windows do you carry?
A..We proudly carry windows from different manufactures. Walsh, Alside and Reynolds for vinyl replacement windows, with Andersen, Marvin, and Pella for wood replacement windows. By utilizing multiple manufactures, we are able to accommodate any window type and configuration and still be competitive in quality and pricing.
Q..What warranty is available with the windows?
A..All our windows come with a minimum 10 year warranty and up to full lifetime warranty. (Please ask your Field Representive for more details on the warranty of the windows you chose!
Q..Will the windows be installed from the outside or inside?
A..The majority of our windows are installed from the inside. In certain situations, we may be required to install from the outside.
Q..Payment Methods / Financing?
A..Capital Contracting accepts payment via check, Visa, MasterCard and discover. We also have a special arrangement with Wells Fargo to help you finance your home improvement.
Q..Do you install windows during the winter?
A..Capital Contracting installs windows year round. A standard installation will take only one day for all windows on your home. The energy savings from the new windows will recover any costs incurred within a few days.
Q..How do I prepare my house for my window installation?
A..Please provide the installer with a clear path to the window by moving any furniture or personal items that is in front of the windows. Please remove your window treatments. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows. Security devices should also be removed or deactivated by your security company.
Q..How long will it take for my windows to arrive?
A..Your windows will be installed within 4-8 weeks from the date of the final measurement.
Q..What happens to my old windows and screens?
A..We generally remove all debris from your property and dispose of it. If you would like to keep your old windows or storms, please notify the installer as soon as he arrives for your installation.
Q..What damage can I expect from installation of my new windows?
A..If there is no current deterioration in existing drywall there should be no damage. There may, however, be some need for touch up due to old paint.
We do a thorough inspection of your property exterior for any damage
that would be covered by your insurance company, under a no-fault
claim.
