Q..What brands of siding do you carry?
A..We proudly carry siding from four different manufactures Alside, Reynolds, Owens Corning and James Hardie. By utilizing these four manufactures, we are able to accommodate any color and design and still be competitive in quality and pricing. Please note if you have any special requests for siding or for wood products such as cedar or redwood. Let your field representative know and we will be happy to accommodate your request.
Q..How long is the siding warranty good for?
A..Most of our product lines are warranted from 20 years up to the lifetime of the original owner against manufacturing defects. Upon transfer of the property the siding is warranted from the date of installation for fifty years. Ask your field representative for more details.
Q..Payment Methods / Financing?
A..Capital Contracting accepts payment via check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. We also have a special arrangement with Wells Fargo to help you finance your home improvement.
Q..Do I ever have to paint my vinyl siding?
A..No! Premium vinyl siding is virtually maintenance free. The most you ever have to do is give your home a washing with soap and water once or twice a year.
Q..Does siding come with matching trim?
A..Manufacturers offer a wide variety of trim pieces. Everything from function utility trims to substantial wide trims resembling dimensional lumber, fluted corner posts and decorative crown molding for window headers. Most items are available in all siding colors.
Q..Does vinyl siding have seams?
A..Vinyl siding is generally available in 12' to 16’ lengths, so it needs to be overlapped at the ends to cover an entire wall. Vinyl sidings are designed to provide a virtually seamless appearance and a good siding installer will install your siding away from traffic to further minimize the visual of the seams.
Q..How much does it cost to side my home?
A..Because we offer siding at a number of price points to fit any need and any budget, and because every home and siding job is unique, there is no way to answer this question, other than "it depends". The best thing to do is invite Capital Contracting to your home so we can measure it accurately and discuss the different options with you. You'll be under no obligation.
Q..What color siding do you offer?
A..We offer siding in all different colors and styles. Give us a call, and we will gladly supply you with sample colors and styles.
Q..Is one season better than another to have my new siding installed?
A..Not really. You can have your vinyl siding installed in any season, as your schedule and budget allow. Regardless of when you have your new siding installed, you'll enjoy the immediate benefits of improved appearance, as well as the long-term benefits of durability and easy maintenance.
Q..How do I select the siding style that is appropriate for my home?
A..There are many styles, colors and accessories that are available. We will come to your home or office to help you decide. Keep in mind that in some cases, you may have style restrictions placed on you by your homeowners association or condo association.
