Q..What kind of commercial roofs do you repair or replace?

A..Capital Contracting handles all types of commercial roofs.

Q..Are your prices lower than other contractors?

A..Yes, because we are specialists. And just as true specialists in other fields, we have developed the skills necessary to carry out premium-quality repair work efficiently and effectively. We have the tools, equipment, materials, and specialized expertise that other contractors may lack.

Q..Why would other contractors tell me I need a new roof unless I really do?

A..The majority of contractors use repair work as a lead generator--in almost every case their "recommendation" is for a complete new roof, usually preceded by a complete tear-off of the existing roof.

Q..Where is your business located?

A..We are located in Burnsville at 151 Burnsville Parkway W, #211. Contact us.

Q..Are your installers full time employees?

A..Yes, our installers are full time employees.

Q..Do you offer a manufacture's warranty and a warranty on your labor?

A..Our warranty is on the back of all our contracts. A copy of our warranty is available for review.

Q..Do you supply a fully written estimate with a list of products you intend to install?

A..Everything is spelled out in your estimate, we don't believe in hidden extras.

Q..Can we have a list of references?

A..Yes. We insist that you check our references.

Q..All the other properties in the area got a new roof or siding, why were we turned down?

A..If surrounding property owners suffered damage, then chances are you did too. In these cases we will ask you to call your insurance company and request an inspection by a different adjustor. Our Field Representative will be there for all future inspections to show the new adjustor the damage we've found. That's why working with a qualified professional is a wise decision. Hail and strong winds aren't selective.

Q..What does hail damage look like?

A..Sometimes hail damage is obvious and anyone can spot it, but sometimes it takes a trained professional to know what to look for. The easiest thing to do is look for ancillary damage on soft metal items (gutters, vents or window wraps). Similarly, hail damage to aluminum siding is very obvious. On a roof, however, hail damage can be very deceiving. Hail stones strike the asphalt mat, "bruising" the shingles and loosening the granules. As time goes by and rain and snow sweep over the roof, the granules will be washed away, exposing a hole in the shingle. Problems like this could take a year or more to manifest themselves, but you don't want to wait that long. Have the roof checked as soon as you suspect that it may have been damaged.
